Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Fit3, signaling a significant leap forward from its predecessor, the Fit2. With a focus on delivering a superior user experience, the Fit3 introduces a host of upgrades, including a larger screen, prolonged battery longevity, and innovative safety functionalities, positioning itself as a formidable contender in the competitive fitness tracker arena. Check out the details.

Samsung Galaxy Fit3: Specs and Features

The most striking transformation comes in the form of a 45% increase in screen real estate, with the Fit3 sporting a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, a substantial enhancement over the Fit2. This enlarged display promises enhanced clarity, facilitating effortless tracking of health metrics and seamless navigation through menus, catering to users who found the Fit2’s screen somewhat restrictive.

Extended Battery Life

Samsung boasts an impressive battery life for the Fit3, with a single charge now sustaining the device for up to 13 days with a larger 208mAh battery and a refined software interface, offering respite to users fatigued by the perpetual need for charging their fitness trackers.

Galaxy Fit3  Safety Features

The Fit3 incorporates two pioneering features: Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. Fall Detection automatically triggers in response to a severe fall, promptly notifying designated emergency contacts along with the user’s precise location. Meanwhile, Emergency SOS can be activated swiftly by pressing the side button five times, swiftly sharing the user’s location to selected contacts, ensuring immediate assistance in times of distress.

Comprehensive Fitness Tracking

Equipped with an extensive array of fitness metrics encompassing steps, calories burned, distance covered, heart rate, sleep patterns, and stress levels, the Fit3 serves as a comprehensive companion for health-conscious individuals. It further offers diverse workout modes tailored to activities such as running, cycling, swimming, and more. While lacking built-in GPS, it seamlessly integrates with smartphones to facilitate GPS tracking during outdoor exercises.

Additional Features

Beyond its core fitness tracking capabilities, the Fit3 extends its utility with features including sleep tracking, stress monitoring, guided breathing exercises, and notifications for calls, texts, and calendar events. Moreover, it offers over 100 customizable watch faces and boasts water resistance up to 5ATM, enhancing its versatility and resilience in various environments.

Samsung Galaxy Fit3: Pricing and Availability

While Samsung has yet to disclose official pricing details, speculation suggests a price point akin to its predecessor, hovering around USD 80. The Fit3 is slated for release on February 23rd across Asia, Central America, Europe, and South America, with a subsequent launch earmarked for South Korea.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 presents a compelling proposition, underscored by its expansive display, remarkable battery longevity, and pioneering safety features. While it may lack the sophistication of certain smartwatches, it stands as a robust choice for fitness enthusiasts prioritizing durability, ease of use, and affordability.
