Samsung Galaxy A82 appears in full glory ahead of launch

Samsung is said to be working on a Galaxy A-series smartphone namely Galaxy A82 or Galaxy A Quantum 2. Several leaks and claims hint at the possible specs of the device. Also, reports suggest that the phone could debut on April 23. 

Earlier in March, the Galaxy A82 was spotted on Geekbench listing with a model number SM-A826S. This Samsung phone was seen with Snapdragon 855+ chipset and 5G support. The said device is said to be a successor of Galaxy A80 launched back in July 2019. So, for a successor, it’s long overdue. Anyhoo, here is everything we know about the device thus far.

Samsung Galaxy A82 Expected Price

The Samsung Galaxy A82 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a punch-hole placed at the center and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device could get a triple rear camera having a 64MP main shooter and two unknown sensors. There’s no revelation on A82’s front camera. 

If the leak is to be believed, Galaxy A82 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage expandable through a microSD card slot. Also, the phone could support Android 11.

The Galaxy A82 is expected to boast a 4500mAh battery supporting a 25W fast charge. The rest of the features could include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP67 rating for water resistance, Dolby Atmos, and Samsung Pay.
