Samsung’s Super AMOLED screens, memory, storage, and camera sensors are familiar components in phones from almost all Android and even Apple phones. Well, in 2021 you could see Exynos processors being employed in a few Xiaomi and Oppo phones. That’s right, After Vivo, Samsung is luring Xiaomi and Oppo to join the Exynos club.

As per the Business Korea report, Xiaomi and Oppo are in talks with Samsung for Exynos chipsets to meet their goals of expanding productions. Samsung’s competitive hardware pricing also helped Xiaomi and Oppo to lean towards Exynos mobile platform.

If you recall, vivo S6 powered by Exynos 980 5G which was announced earlier this year in China. Later on Vivo Y70s was introduced powered by Exynos 880 SoC.

Samsung’s next-gen chipsets including Exynos 1080 are all set to be announced on November 12. Vivo X60 is expected to be one of the first few phones to feature one of these upcoming chipsets.

Recently, Exynos 981 SoC was spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification adding fuel to rumors of its November 12 launch. It is possible that it could very well be an affordable 5G chip that makes it to Xiaomi and Oppo mid-range phones.
