Samsung aims for 75 percent 5G sales in India in 2023

Samsung India said it would adopt a 5G-first strategy in India to maintain its dominance in the smartphone market, to capture 75% of sales from its 5G device lineup this year.
According to Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, “We will not only introduce more 5G smartphones but also assure a wider distribution of our 5G smartphones in the nation with the target of obtaining 75% sales from 5G devices this year.”
According to Pullan, their smartphone company expanded by more than 20% last year, which helped them increase their market share.

Additionally, the anticipated 62% increase in 5G smartphones in 2023 would be made possible by better network availability in essential areas (on-year).

The introduction of 5G devices in the inexpensive smartphone sector would be critical for mainstream 5G adoption in India (less than Rs 10,000).

With prices ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000, Samsung claims that the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will be the most commonly available smartphones in the nation.

According to Pullan, Samsung’s A series portfolio will include 1.6 times more 5G devices than last year.

According to the brand, Samsung Finance+’s affordability initiatives ensure that users may purchase 5G smartphones at the same EMI as a 4G phone, promoting the adoption of 5G smartphones nationwide.
The 6.6-inch FHD+ screen on the Galaxy A14 5G and the immersive content viewing experience on the Galaxy A23 5G are included.

The 120Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy A23 5G makes scrolling and screen transitions seamless. The 5000mAh battery and 50MP camera sensor are standard on both smartphones.
