Yeh Diwali Phir Hogi Rohit Shetty Wali! This seems to be the agenda for 2024 as superhit director Rohit Shetty just dropped the trailer for the 3rd movie in the Singham franchise and 5th movie in his cop universe Singham Again. The almost five-minute-long trailer gives a sneak peek into the ever-expanding world of Singham which will now have Simba, Sooryavanshi, Satya, and Shakti Shetty joining forces to give a never-seen spectacle for the audience. Singham Again: Trailer Analysis
The five-minute-long trailer is the longest ever for a Hindi movie and right from the word go, it is clear that Rohit Shetty has based Singham 3 on Ramayana.
It kicks off with Bajirao and Avni’s grown-up son asking Singham if he will go to Lanka to protect if Avni gets kidnapped. What follows is Avni getting abducted by modern-day Ravana Arjun Kapoor who is involved in a toxic waste trafficking racket and wants to settle scores with Singham.
True to his word Bajirao crosses borders to save his wife and is joined by area in-charge Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone), ACP Satya (Tiger Shroff), Simmba (Ranveer Singh) and ATS Chief Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar). In this modern-day Ramayana, while Singham is Ram and Avni is Sita, Satya is Lakshman, Simmba is Hanuman and Sooryavanshi is Jatayu.

The trailer dropped on YouTube around 2 hours ago and within this time, it has garnered 166k+ likes, and 1.5 million+ views and is trending on all social media platforms.

Singham Again is all set to release on Diwali aka 1st November 2024. It will lock horns with Kartik Aryan and Vidya Balan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Singham Again is packed with a never-before-seen star cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor. The cast also includes Jacky Shroff, Ravi Kishan, Dayanand Shetty, and others. It is produced by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Films, and Bollygrad Productions and directed by Rohit Shetty.
Salman’s Cameo in Singham Again?
Yes, the news is true Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey is joining the Rohit Shetty’s cop universe this time and the same will be shown via a post-credits scene of 20-30 seconds. Salman is expected to shoot for his cameo soon and will be a part of the universe in full full-fledged way in the next movies.
Singham Again: OTT Platform & Streaming Date
Amazon Prime Video has bagged the rights to stream Singham Again. The movie will take a while to come to OTT as it will run in theatres for a while.

Singham Franchise
Singham Again is the third movie in the franchise with the first one Singham which was released in 2011 and Singham Returns that released in 2014. Both movies were blockbusters at the box office.
Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe
Rohit’s Shetty’s cop universe began with Singham in 2011 followed by Singham Returns in 2014. Ranveer Singh joined the universe next as Simmba in 2018 followed by ATS Chief Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar) in 2021. Siddharth Malhotra is also a part of the cop universe as he starred in the web series Indian Police Force streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Though the next movies in the cop universe haven’t been confirmed yet, looking at the response Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi, and even Shakti Shetty might get their movies next. Which one will be next might be teased at the end of Singham Returns.
