Redmi Note 7s launched in India with 48MP camera and Snapdragon 660 chipset

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 7s exclusively via Flipkart in India today. The company has been teasing the phone for the past couple of weeks and now we have it in flesh and bone. This is the same phone that was launched as Note 7 in China earlier and the main highlight of the phone is its 48MP camera.

The Redmi Note Note 7s is engined by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. Xiaomi is offering it in two configurations: 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. Apart from this, the rest of the specs are identical to its ‘Pro’ sibling.

Xiaomi brings the Aura design on the new device with P2i coating for splash-proof. On the surface, we get a 6.3 inches, 1080 x 2340 px, Dot Notch display. Both front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The frontal cutout houses a 13MP selfie snapper. Its glass back flaunts a 48MP (1/2″, f/1.8 aperture, 1.6um) primary shooter with a 5MP depth sensor. Its main camera works on the 4-in-1 Super Pixel binning technology.

It also runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. It also supports 18W fast charging support to fuel a 4000mAh battery. Notably, it ships with a 10W charger within the box. You could buy the faster 18W charger from Mi stores. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s price in India for the higher version 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 7s with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage variant to retail for 10,999.

Xiaomi will hold the Redmi Note 7s first sale online at noon on May 23, 2019, on Mi.com, Mi store, and Flipkart. Soon, it would hit the shelves of other retail outlets. You could grab the device in 3 colors- Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red.
