The Redmi Note 13 Pro will launch in the country on January 4, 2023. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed that the handset will feature the Snapdragon 7s gen 2 SoC. This makes it the first smartphone in the world to run on the newly launched chipset. Although the chipset has four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores at 1.95GHz, we haven’t had any benchmark results to compare with other models until now.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Indian Version Appears On Geekbench

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the phone’s Indian version recently appeared on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench. It carries the module number “2312DRA50I” and features 12GB of RAM. The variant that underwent the test also ran on Android 13 and carried the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, revealing its performance scores.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro, with the 7s Gen 2 Soc, scores 1,030 points in the single-core and 2,851 points in the multi-core Geekbench test. In retrospect, the score is similar to the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset found on the Nothing Phone (1) and several other phones that came out in 2022. However, the 7s Gen 2 SoC, due to its modern architecture based on 4nm fabrication technology, is much more efficient in terms of energy consumption.
