Redmi K60 Series to launch with 2 charging speed options & a Dynamic Island-like feature

When Apple launched iPhone 14 series with a dynamic island for its Pro smartphones, Android users started looking forward to when it would be available for them. Seems like Xiaomi will be the first brand to end this wait. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi K60 Series of smartphones that are expected to have a Dynamic Island-like feature.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed this exciting piece of news and shared some more details about the upcoming series of smartphones.

According to the leakster, the series will be priced for budget consumers and will not have many high-end specs like an IP rating. The Dynamic Island-like feature is also expected to be coming in the high-end variant of the series. Dynamic Island is an interactive section on the phone that dynamically changes size depending on the context.

Otherwise, the smartphones are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 series chipsets. The higher variants will most probably have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The Redmi K60 Series will have charging speed as the main highlight. It is expected to come with 2 charging speed options- 67W wired and 30W wireless charging support & 120W wired and 30W wireless charging support. The high-end models will have a 2K display panel along with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. It will also have an under-display fingerprint sensor.
