Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched one more powerful device in its K Series for the Indian market today. Redmi K50i 5G has been launched with the tagline of ‘Live Extreme’. Redmi K Series is known for having best-in-class looks, processor, battery along with camera setup, and the K50i aims to carry the legacy forward. Redmi has also launched Buds 3 Lite TWS during the event. Let us have a look at the price, specs, and availability of these products.

Redmi K50i 5G Price & Availability

The Redmi K50i will come in the following storage configurations

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 25,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 28,999

Early bird offer includes up to Rs. 3000 discount for ICICI cardholders. For Redmi phone owners, Redmi K20 users can exchange their phone for K50i and get it for about Rs. 12,499. Offline you can also get a mi speaker free with Redmi K50i. The first sale will happen on 23rd July at midnight via mi.com, Amazon, and offline stores.

Redmi K50i will come in Phantom Blue, Quick Silver, and Stealth Black colors.

Redmi K50i 5G Specs & Features

The Redmi K50i sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ FFS LCD Dot display with a pixel resolution of 2460×1080. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10, DCI-P3 color gamut, Wide color gamut, Dolby Vision, and 650 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a plastic body with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is a 7 stage adaptive refresh rate feature as well.

Redmi K50i is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and Mali-G610MC6 GPU along with up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. It runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 and has dual symmetrical speakers. The smartphone has Dolby Atmos support and a high impedance 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

In terms of camera, Redmi K50i has a triple camera setup at the back. It includes a 64MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP additional sensor. It has a 16MP selfie lens at the front and can record videos in 4K at 30fps.

The Redmi K50i packs a 5080mAh battery with a 67W turbo charging capability that can charge from 0 to 50% in mere 15 minutes.

It has X-axis linear motor, 4D Haptics Vibration, Liquid Cooling 2.0, USB OTG, IR Blaster, and is IP53 rated. In terms of connectivity options, the K50i has a dual nano sim slot, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 6 capability. The device has dimensions of 163.64×74.29×8.87mm and weighs 200 grams. Redmi is giving 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patches with the Redmi K50i smartphone.

Redmi Buds 3 Lite: Specs & Price

The Redmi Buds 3 Lite come with 6mm drivers tuned by Xiaomi Sound Lab. They have a pop and lock-in in-ear design and silicone tips. The buds come with ENC and smart touch controls.

The buds are IP54 rated for splash and dust resistance and give a playback time of 18 hours. They are enabled with Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C connectivity. The Redmi Buds 3 weigh 4.04 grams each. The buds have a sleek design and quick touch response. The buds can give 100 minutes of playback time with a 10-minute charge.

The Realme Buds 3 Lite is priced at Rs. 1499 (early bird price) for the first 48 hours after it goes on sale on 31st July at 12 Noon via amazon, mi.com, and other partners. Otherwise, the price will be Rs. 1999.
