Redmi K50 Ultra Makes its debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc

The Redmi K50 Ultra has made its debut in the Chinese market today. Having a look at the specifications and features, it seems like a serious upgrade over other K50 series devices we saw in the last few months. The device has a sports design and a rectangular camera island of the same if present at the top left corner. The volume rockers and the power button of the smartphone are placed on the right spine.

As for the pricing, the base variant of the smartphone with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is available for CNY 2,999 which roughly converts to Rs 35,400and the 256GB internal storage variant is priced at CNY 3,299 which is around Rs 39,000. On the other hand, the 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage is available for CNY 3,599 (Rs 42,500) and the price of it with the same RAM and 512GB internal storage is CNY 3,999 which is Rs 47,200.

Not only this, but the smartphone also has a Champion Edition priced at CNY 4,199 which roughly converts to Rs 49,600 that gets 12GB RAM along with 512GB internal storage. This edition of the device is based on the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.

Redmi K50 Ultra specifications and features

The Redmi K50 Ultra comes equipped with a 6.7-inch 12-bit OLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the display of the smartphone HDR10+, and low blue light mode. The Redmi K50 Ultra also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor that delivers fast-paced performance.

On top of that, the device has a VC liquid cooling system that ensures that you don’t face any heating issues while running heavy games and applications for long hours. The handset operates on MIUI 13 based on the Android 12 operating system.

The Redmi K50 Ultra flaunts a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, it sports a 20MP selfie shooter for the sake of selfies and video calls. The smartphone draws power from a 5000mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support. Other features include WiFi 6, dual stereo speakers, dual SIM, dual-band GNSS, NFC, IP53 water and dust resistance.
