Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth teased Realme smartwatch about a month back. However, he didn’t share any specific details or launch date of the Realme’s first smartwatch. Folks at XDA have dug deeper and have managed to get hold of Realme SmartWatch images, features and specs detail.

Realme Watch Design

The renders posted by XDA Developers seem in line with the Realme Watch teased by the company CEO last month. It sports a square design with thick bezels and Realme’s branding on the lower bezel on the front.

The Realme Watch seems to include a multipurpose button on the right side. It is likely to work as a button to unlock and navigate. The renders posted online suggest that the Realme Watch will be offered in black, blue, white, and yellow colors. The watch will include charging pins on the back.

Realme Watch Features, Specs

If the reports are anything to go by, the Realme Watch may include a square 1.4-inch LCD panel with 320 x 320px resolution. The watch is said to feature
a 160mAh battery.

The Realme Watch will include a heart rate sensor capable of performing
24-hour heart rate monitoring with SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation). And even with 24-hour heart rate monitoring turned on, the Realme Watch is expected to last for 7 days on a single charge.

It will also feature an accelerometer among other sensors. For GPS tracking, the watch will rely on its connection to your smartphone over Bluetooth 5.0.

Interestingly, the report suggests that Watch will run a CustomOS similar to Huawei watches instead of Google Wear OS. The Realme Watch is stated to have the ability to track 15 exercises including running, yoga, cycling, etc. The Realme Watch will include India specific cricket tracking mode and option to switch user interface to Hindi.

The Realme Watch also reportedly supports Alarm, Find my phone, music player control, etc. It can also act as your phone’s camera shutter. Users will also be able to access the phone’s notifications on the Realme Watch. It will come with five pre-installed watch faces, and more can be added via Realme Link app.

The Realme Watch official launch date and price details remain elusive at this time point of time. The official launch announcement is expected only after the government lifts countrywide lockdown.
