Realme TV to Launch in India on May 25: Key Features and Specifications Revealed

Realme has been revealing bits and pieces of information about its upcoming Realme TV and today its Ecommerce partner Flipkart confirmed the May 25 launch date.

The dedicated microsite created by Flipkart also showcases the Realme TV design confirming a bezel-less look. The microsite touts it as “immersive smart cinema experience”. The listing also confirms some of the key details of the upcoming TV. The Realme TV is confirmed to be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek chipset and has Chroma Boost Picture Engine for image processing.

The MediaTek processor on Realme TV has Cortex A53 CPU and Mali-470 GP3 GPU. On the audio front, Realme TV can output 24W through a four-speaker system that also supports Dolby Audio. The Flipkart page also teases about integrating voice assistant on the Realme TV and promises to reveal more details two days later on May 20.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that the Realme TV will run Android TV platform so most likely it will have Google Assitant onboard. Other rumors peg that the TV will retail in three display sizes – 55-inch, 43-inch, and 32-inch.

Of course, the final price will be revealed on May 25 at the launch event. Apart from TV, Realme is also expected to present a bunch of other IOT products including a SmartWatch.
