Realme GT 2 Pro to be accompanied with Smart TV Stick & Buds Air 3 on April 7; Realme 9 4G might launch soon

Realme has already confirmed that it is bringing the newest flagship GT 2 Pro to India on April 7. Now, it has been revealed that GT 2 Pro will not be the only device that will get a launch during the 7th April event. Joining it will be Realme Buds Air 3 and Realme Smart TV Stick which will be launched alongside the GT 2 Pro smartphone.

The launch will begin at 12:30 noon IST and ahead of the launch, the TV Stick has been seen, listed on Flipkart.com as well.

Realme Smart TV Stick

The streaming dongle has a design similar to its predecessor which was launched in India last year, but there are several differences in specs. The new Realme Smart TV Stick will come with support for a Full HD screen resolution instead of 4K support.

It will run Android 11 with Google TV support and will offer users access to OTT platforms and Google Play Store. Platforms include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+Hotstar, Voot, MX Player, and more. The Realme Smart TV Stick will have 1GB RAM and 8GB Storage. It will have a quad-core ARM Cortex A35 processor as well.

The upcoming TV Stick will have HDMI 2.0 which is lower than HDMI 2.1 that was seen on its predecessor. It will support HDR10+ and is expected to be priced around Rs. 3000 in India. It will allow users to cast content from smartphones to the TV screen too and is compatible will all Realme Smart TV remotes. It will work with a Bluetooth voice control remote.

Realme 9 Series Expansion

Realme recently launched the 9 Series in India with 2 devices- Realme 9 SE 5G and Realme 9 5G but seems like this number series is all set to get an expansion with the company planning to add one more device to the Realme 9 Series portfolio. Just like it did with Realme 8 Series, the brand is planning to bring a 4G smartphone to the 9 Series soon. This upcoming Realme 9 4G device has already been spotted on the company’s official website and the specs look decent.

Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that he spotted details on Realme’s official website under the price section as well. According to him, the 4G device will get a 108MP main camera and since Realme has already confirmed that the upcoming 9 series phone will have the world’s 1st Samsung ISOCELL HM6 image sensor, this leak seems to be in tandem with the announcement. It will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen and a plastic body.

Some other reports have speculated that the new 9 Series 4G device will have a 5000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, 16MP front camera, and up to 8GB RAM. It might have up to 128GB of storage and come in 3 colors- Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black, and Stargaze White.

The device has been seen with model number RMX3521 certification websites like FCC, NBTC, EEC, EMT, BIS, Camera FV-5, and more. Since the 5G variant was launched, starting at Rs. 14,999 in India, 4G device is expected to cost somewhere between 12,000 to 15,000.
