Realme is gearing up to unveil its smartphone equipped with magnetic wireless charging capabilities. The company has also announced the launch of its very own magnetic charger dubbed MagDart. The products will be launched at the Realme Magentic Innovation Event scheduled to be held on August 3 at 5:30 PM IST.

Madhav Sheth, Realme India CEO, tweeted a teaser poster divulging the efficiency and design of the MagDart. He claims that the upcoming MagDart will be 440% faster without mentioning the reference product. While it is safe to assume that the executive is comparing it with Apple’s MagSafe that has a 15W charging speed. Ultimately, MagDart is supposed to support 66W fast charging ability.

Mr. Sheth also reveals that MagDart will be as thin as a coin. Earlier, a few leaks and revelations have suggested that there will be two MagDart chargers. A render that appeared online also shows the two designs of the wireless magnetic chargers. The first one looks like a slim and round puck. If it’s so, the thin form factor should offer a charging efficiency similar to Apple’s MagSafe.

Meanwhile, the second model of MagDart is believed to boast a cubical design. The render also suggested it having ventilation grills for the working of built-in fans. If so, this model could be the one that offers 66W fast charging.
