Realme C55 gets a new color variant in India: Read on to know more

Realme launched Realme C55 smartphone about two months ago and it was the first smartphone to feature iPhone-like Dynamic Island at the top, which was called the Mini Capsule by the brand. The smartphone was launched in 3 storage configurations and came out in 2 colorways- Sunshower and Rainy Night when it first went official. Now, Realme has launched the C55 smartphone in a new color variant.

Realme C55 is now available in a new Rainforest shade. The brand claims that the design of this new color has been inspired by the natural phenomenon of Sunshower which created vertical microscopic lines similar to rain droplets. It goes in tandem with the “Let’s Go Wild” theme which is perfect for the summer season to unwind and appreciate nature.

Realme C55 Rainforest Model: Price & Availability

The Rainforest model of the Realme C55 will be available in 3 storage configurations-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage-Rs. 10,999
  • 6GB RAM+64GB storage-Rs. 11,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 13,999

The phone will go on sale starting May 8 and customers will be able to purchase the smartphone online from Realme.com and Flipkart and also from authorized retail stores offline.

Realme C55: Specs

The Realme C55 sports a 6.72-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. One of the key features is the new Mini Capsule which is inspired by the Dynamic Island found on the iPhone 14 Pro. The Mini Capsule shows important notifications, charging status, data usage, and step count.

The smartphone has a 64MP primary camera at the back and an 8MP selfie lens at the front. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging which charges to 50% in 29 minutes. The smartphone runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 OS.
