Realme reveals its upcoming AIoT and lifestyle portfolio for India

Realme has made its vision of expansion more clearer by announcing the idea of launching more AIoT and lifestyle products in India. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, in his article posted on Realme Community has revealed the range of products the company is working on.

Mr. Madhav has to say much in his shared article under the title ‘The journey from a disruptive brand to a tech trendsetter, we are ready to expand our horizon.’ Since its inception back in 2018, Realme was basically focussed over mobile phones but the brand expanded in other domains from the dusk of 2019. Realme already has a wide range of IoT products in its portfolio including wireless earphones, TWS headsets, smart band, smartwatch, and now smart TVs

Realme Expansion Idea

The CEO has termed a new product strategy “1+4+n” on which the company will work on to achieve its set milestone. The first element “1” of the strategy points to the core product of Realme, that is, smartphones. The Shenzhen-based Chinese brand says, “All our AIOT products will be connected to and managed by Realme smartphones.”

Realme focusses to bring four smart hubs that include four sub-categories – Smart TV, Smart Earphone, Smart Watch, and Smart Speaker. Among these, the company is yet to add smart speakers to its portfolio and thus, we can expect it anytime soon. Realme is also on its way to launch more smartwatches, high-end TVs, and smarter headphones.

For its AIoT products, Realme has a long list of gadgets and lifestyle products that includes smart cameras, smart plugs, smart locks, a smart weighing scale, sweeping machine, projector, an electric toothbrush, and travel accessories like backpacks and luggage cases. Sheth reveals to launch a multi-function travel backpack – Realme Adventurer Backpack, along with the Realme X3 series scheduled for June 25. 

Realme with Make in India initiative

Moreover, Madhav Sheth spotlights over the framework to sync Realme with the Make in India initiative. This recommends the manufacturer to produce some AIOT products in India. Also, the company plans to expand its local workforce power to 10,000 by the end of 2020 along with an increase in sales members to expand Realme’s distribution channel to Tier 4 and Tier 5 towns.
