Realme has released a duo of affordable mid-rangers in India, namely Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The former is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G95 while the latter comes with an 8nm Snapdragon 720G chipset. While there are a few other differences between the two models, there are notable similarities as well. This includes stuff like AMOLED displays, inherent Android 11 software, etc.

Realme also took veil off –

  • Realme Smart Scale lets you measure items between 0.05 kg and 9.99 kg and guage 16 key health metrics such as body fat percentage. This supports the Realme Link app and boasts a 360-day long battery life.
  • Realme Smart Bulb that covers 16 Million colours and a wide gamut of colour temperatures. Thanks to an underlying dimmer chip, it enables non-flickering protection for your eyes. It is also compatible with Google Assistant, Alexa, and the proprietary Realme Link

  • The company is yet to reveal the price and availability details of the Realme 8 Pro Illuminating Yellow color edition.
  • Realme smart bulb costs ₹799 for the 9W and ₹999 for the 12W variant.
  • Realme Smart Scale carries a price tag of ₹1,999.

The first sale for the phones will start on March 25, 12 noon. Meanwhile, the Realme Smart Scale and Smart Bulb will go on sale from March 30.
