Hero Electronix’ Qubo Adds Two New Products to its Home Security Range in India

Qubo has announced 2 new smart home products in India. They are an AI-powered smart home camera with a 360-degree field of view called Qubo Smart Cam 360, and a smart door lock called Qubo Smart Door Lock. Both these products are now available in India.

Qubo Smart Door Lock Ultra Variant

The Qubo Smart Cam 360 is priced at Rs. 2890, while the Qubo Smart Door Lock comes in 2 variants. It has a black color variant priced at Rs. 13,990 and a different brass finish variant, called the Qubo Smart Door Lock Ultra, which costs Rs. 22,990. Besides, the feel and finish, these two models have some other differences too, which we will get into soon.

The Smart Cam will be available for purchase on Amazon India, whereas the door lock will currently be available only in 6 cities-Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai on Qubo’s official website.

Qubo Smart Cam 360 Specs

Qubo claims that their Smart Cam 360 will offer AI-based person detection to deliver contextual notifications to a user. It will give full-color feed in full HD, along with color feed in low light too. It has a two-way talk feature with echo cancellation and far-range mics, to enable remote conversations.

Its Advanced AI capabilities can smartly detect and notify whenever a person is detected and one can ring an automatic loud siren in case of an intrusion. It is rated IP65 and thus works in any kind of weather condition. It allows the user to hear and talk back seamlessly with the built-in microphone and speaker powered by Real lifelike clarity. It has infrared night vision and works well with Alexa and Google smart assistants. Smart Cam has a 128GB storage capacity and weighs about 490 grams.

Qubo Smart Door Lock Specs

The smart door lock offers 5 types of access to unlock it. These include fingerprint sensor, passcode, Qubo Mobile app authentication, access card, and mechanical key. The lock has a brute force alarm, and 5 stainless steel bolts for security. It also has features called “voice guidance” and a dedicated ‘privacy mode’.

The smart door lock has a distinctive design and elegant mirror finish. It allows you to give permanent access to family members, timed access to domestic help, and one-time access to unexpected guests. It is made of stainless steel and has a child lock, intruder guard, and two-layer authentication. Smart Door Lock is easy to set up via the mobile app, gives low battery alerts, and allows you to use an emergency battery jumpstart.
