The game of phone charging capability is believed to reach new heights as several manufacturers are reportedly working on a 125W fast-charging technology. It basically includes the key subsidiary brands of BBK Electronics – Realme, Oppo, and OnePlus.
Last year, Realme had declared to bring the 125W UltraDART Charge technology capable of achieving 33% of charge in just 3 minutes. Similarly, Oppo’s offering assures to fully charge a 4000mAh battery phone in 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the OnePlus is yet to make any official announcement. Nonetheless, it is tipped to feature the tech in an upcoming smartphone.
Now, a fresh bit of revelation comes from the popular tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) who tweeted the exact names of devices that will support 125W fast charging. The smartphones on the list are Realme GT 2 Pro, Oppo Find X4 series, Oppo N series, Oppo Reno 8 Pro, and OnePlus 10 Pro.
Among the five aforementioned smartphones, rumor mills have churned a bit of detail about the Realme GT 2 Pro. To highlight, the device is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC with a memory configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The GT 2 Pro shall arrive with a 6.51-inch Super AMOLED punch-hole display housing a 32MP selfie camera. The rear camera is said to comprise 108MP main camera, 8MP secondary sensor, and a 5MP tertiary shooter.
The source believes the phones of all the three brands to debut as early as the first quarter of 2022 and China would be the first market to witness the launch.
