Philips India has brought out two soundbars dubbed TAB7305 and TAB5305 in India today. This extends the brand’s audio offering in the country. Both the loudspeakers feature a subwoofer for low-pitched bass output. Rest, the TAB7305 model is the premium one of the two and brings with it the expressiveness of Dolby Digital Plus.

C’mon, let’s look at ’em one by one.

Philips TAB7305

The TAB7305 sports a 300W 2.1CH output which is aided by Dolby Digital Plus enhancement. Philips is proud of the “crisp and clear whisper-quite dialogue” out of it. The two midrange drivers and two tweeters should deliver balanced sound while the subwoofer renders a well-rounded bass. This should augment your media experience at home. Speaking of which, the compact cum geometrical design of the soundbar should gel well with your indoor decor.

The cheaper one of the two is TAB5305. It delivers 70W balanced output through 2.1CH. Here too you get the wireless subwoofer for the bassy oomph.

Further, there is support for HDMI ARC, which lets you connect to their TV and manage the volume of the soundbars as well as the TV with the same remote.

The soundbar flaunts a slanted form factor that maintains a low profile. If that’s not enough, Philips does one better with the supplied wall brackets that make the placement even possible over walls.

You can buy both the TAB7305 and TAB5305 soundbars starting February 2021 at ₹21,990 & ₹14,990 respectively. They are available via major online and offline channel partners across 35000+ stores.

Philips is aiming to enhance the after-sales service and double the current service centers count.

Commenting on the availability of the range, Mr. Shailesh Prabhu, Country Head, TPV Technology India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The new range of Philips soundbars have a host of new features that will help cinephiles and audiophiles enjoy their favorite shows and movies like never before. In pursuit of a better home cinematic experience, we have always focused on working towards newer technology that helps in achieving finer details in the sound quality.
