Wide monitors offer more real estate for experiences such as games, multi-media, and multi-tasking instances, which otherwise would require multiple screens. The newly out Philips P-Line monitor stretches 49-inches with a slight curve. That’s like two full-size high-end monitors attached side by side.

Here’s a quick run through its specs and features —

Philips 49-inch P Line Monitor Highlights

The 49-inch screen has got a 1800r curve. Just so you know, the human periphery vision is about 1000r. So, Philips has baked in a feature called MultiView dual connect to make the best use of that wide canvas. The display endows a 32:9 superwide screen with 5120×1440 resolution. Other visual metrics include DisplayHDR 400, global dimming, and peak brightness up-to 400 nits. There are even a Flicker-free technology and LowBlue Mode for a strain-free visual experience.

The Philips monitor is equipped with a USB-C docking station that supports power delivery, and a USB-C connector for quick one-cable docking. There are HDMI, 3.5mm jack, USB A and other sockets too.
