Panasonic India targets tier-II and tier-III cities with the launch of Eluga Tapp – an affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone with a fingerprint sensor. The handset will be available in Champagne Gold & Silver Gray color options for 8,990 INR.
The Panasonic Eluga Tapp includes a compact 5-inch display with 720p HD resolution and is powered by an unspecified quad-core CPU clocked at 1.25GHz. The smartphone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Panasonic has also added a dedicated MicroSD card slot, which means you will be able to add up to 32GB of secondary storage without compromising on dual SIM card privilege.
The Panasonic Eluga Tapp further includes an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera. It’s running Android Marshmallow out of the box, integrated with ‘Android for Work’ that lets you manage a separate and secure work profile. Apps under work profile can communicate with personal apps as well. Talking of security, the handset also includes a fingerprint sensor integrated with the home button for secure unlocking.

Other hardware features include Bluetooth™ 4.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Global Positioning System (A-GPS), FM with RDS, and a 2800mAh battery.
