Tech giant Oppo just confirmed the launch date of the next-generation foldable in China. Oppo Find N5 is arriving in China on 20th February but the foldable isn’t the only one that is getting announced. The brand has also confirmed the arrival of the Oppo Watch X2 alongside the Find N5. Oppo Watch X2 is the successor to the Oppo Watch X and might come to India under OnePlus branding in the upcoming weeks.

Oppo Watch X2: Launch confirmed

Chinese tech giant Oppo has shared an official teaser to announce the launch date and design of the upcoming Watch X2. The teaser shows a round dial and display which will be an OLED panel. Oppo Find N5 and Oppo Watch X2 have been listed for pre-orders in the Chinese market and chances are strong that the watch might launch globally too rebranded as OnePlus Watch 3 Pro. Currently, OnePlus Watch 2 is available for Rs. 11,999 in the country. This will be similar to how Oppo Find N foldables launched as OnePlus Open in India.

Oppo Watch X2: Expected specs

Based on the teasers we have seen so far, Oppo Watch X2 will have a titanium bezel design with at least three color options-Silver, Blue and Black. The upcoming Watch X2 is said to arrive with support for hypertension risk reminder function, ECG heart rate tracking, wrist temperature mapping, and other health monitors.

The smartwatch is expected to flaunt an OLED display and come in a 46mm size with e-SIM support, 10W charging speed, 648mAh battery, and IP68 and 5ATM rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options will include GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Oppo Find N5 foldable will be launched in Dusk Purple, Jade White, and Satin Black hues. It has a redesigned camera module as compared to Find N3 and features an alert slider and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The foldable has a slim profile of 9.2mm and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with a 5700mAh battery under the hood. In terms of the camera, it is expected to have a 50MP main, 50MP periscope, and 50MP ultrawide lens at the back. For durability, the foldable will be IPX9-rated.
