Oppo introduced the Reno 12 Series 5G in June 2024, and given the brand’s six-month release cycle for its Reno series, the launch of the Reno 13 Series is imminent. The upcoming Oppo Reno 13 Series 5G is anticipated to feature two models: the Oppo Reno 13 and the Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G. To clarify the launch schedule, certain specifications of the Reno 13 Pro have been leaked online, thanks to sources like Gizmochina and Digital Chat Station. The Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G is expected to come with enhancements in various aspects.

The Reno 13 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K quad-micro curved LTPO OLED display, offering a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1264×2780 pixels. In comparison, its predecessor, the Reno 12 Pro 5G, was equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that had a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels and also supported a 120Hz refresh rate.
Regarding the camera specifications, Digital Chat Station reports that the new smartphone will include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. In contrast, the Reno 12 Pro featured a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The Reno 13 Pro is anticipated to feature an upgraded battery. Sources indicate that it will include a 5900mAh battery, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities. This smartphone is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which offers significant improvements over the Dimensity 7300 Energy that powered the Reno 12 Pro.
Additionally, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G is rumored to come with a high rating for dust and water resistance. While the official announcement regarding the release date of the Reno 13 Series has not yet been made, the ongoing flow of information suggests that the launch is imminent.
