In a bid to expand its online presence, Oppo has announced the Realme 1 online exclusive phone in India. The phone will retail exclusively on Amazon.in and will compete against the likes of Redmi Note 5, Nokia 6.1, and Asus Zenfone Max Pro.
With the Realme 1, Oppo looking to challenge Xiaomi by offering better specs, more attractive design for an unprecedented price.

Oppo Realme 1 Features
The Realme 1 flaunts the same Black Diamond design as seen on the Oppo F7. Its rear panel has a multi-layered metallic and glass back cover with triangular-cut patterns that shimmer bright and dark shades when seen from different angles.
The Realme 1 houses a 6-inch FHD+ on the front with 18:9 aspect ratio and 84 percent screen-to-body-ratio.
Like the F7, 1 the RealMe 1 is also powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6711 Helio P60 octa-core SoC which is based on a 12nm manufacturing process. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage space. It features a triple slot where it can hold two 4G VoLTE SIMs and a microSD card slot up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Realme 1 sports a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear with PDAF, Geo-tagging, Depth effect, and LED flash. Up front, it has an 8MP shooter for selfies with Portrait mode. The cameras are backed by AR stickers and AI-technology that can recognize up to 296 facial points to enhance the images.
Further, the handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS 5 and houses a 3410mAh battery with AI-powered battery management. What this phone clearly lacks is a fingerprint sensor. However, it comes with less secure Face unlock which as per Oppo claims can do Unlock phone in just 0.1s.

Oppo Realme 1 Price and Availability
The Oppo Realme 1 India price starts at Rs. 8,990 for its 3GB RAM variant, followed by Rs. 10,990 for the 4GB RAM and 13,990 for the 6GB RAM variant. As for the availability, the Realme 1 will be available for sale only on Amazon from May 25 onwards.
You can purchase the phone in Solar Red and Black Diamond color options whereas the 4GB variant of Realme 1 will also come in additional Moonlight silver color option.
