Oppo Find N2 Flip to launch globally at MWC 2023: Colorways & Specs surface online

Oppo Find N2 Series was launched at the company’s INNO Day conference in 2022 in China. The event saw Oppo launching the first clamshell folding phone, Oppo Find N2 Flip. Now the foldable is all set to make its way to the global market very soon. Although there is no official date for the global launch, the latest reports claim that it might launch in Europe and some other markets soon.

Reliable leakster SnoopyTech reveals that the Oppo Find N2 Flip might launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. This means the smartphone might launch on February 27 which is when MWC kicks off. Let us have a look at the launch timeline and expected specs.

It is Oppo’s first clamshell-style foldable smartphone that will directly take on Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Oppo Find N2 Flip might come in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colors. The tipster also revealed that the flip phone will be available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There will be support for virtual RAM up to 8GB and it will also support dual SIM and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Oppo Foldable phone will come with 2 displays. The inner display will be a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1080×2520 pixel resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The outer display will be a 3.26-inch cover display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass and support a 60Hz refresh rate.

The Flip phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and pack a 4300mAh battery along with 44W SuperVOOC charging. It will charge 25% in 10 minutes.

Coming to the camera setup, the Flip phone will come with a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Camera features include Pro mode, portrait mode, panorama, night mode, movie mode, slow-mo, time-lapse, and XPan.  There will be a 32MP selfie lens as well. The smartphone will have an IPX4 rating and will run Android 13 out of the box with ColorOS 13 on top.

Currently, Oppo India has not announced anything about the India launch of the device, so we’ll have to wait for updates on that front.
