OnePlus Tablet codenamed Aries under testing in India

OnePlus just had a blast launching OnePlus 11 in China. The flagship is yet to debut outside China but we already have another device in the pipeline. Reports hint that the upcoming OnePlus tablet could launch in India soon. It is codenamed Aries and is reportedly under private testing in the country.

The folks at MySmartPrice notified the tech community about the ‘Aries’ codenamed ‘OnePlus tablet’. It is under private testing which indicates the tab will launch soon. It is likely to launch alongside the OnePlus 11R which itself has appeared on the web multiple times even though the Chinese smartphone maker never confirmed its launch date to date.

Talking about the OnePlus tablet launch, as it will share the stage with the OnePlus 11R, the launch is likely happening sometime around June 2023. Again, we don’t have the exact dates yet but June 2023 appears to be an apt time when the duo could arrive. Both the OnePlus 10R and 9R arrived before April of their corresponding years. It sheds light on whether OnePlus 11R will launch in June 2023 or before that. As the OnePlus tablet will accompany the 11R, it is safe to assume that the tab will arrive during the same timeline.

OnePlus’ parent (then-sister) brand Oppo launched its Oppo Pad Air in India with a Snapdragon 680 SoC, 2K resolution on a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel, and a beefy 7,100mAh battery. One can easily assume that the OnePlus tablet will share the specs sheet with the Pad Air. It is given the fact that OnePlus often uses Oppo’s devices as the foundation for its devices and the tab might see the same groundwork.

Note that these are speculations and thus, I would require you to use this information with a pinch of salt. Neither OnePlus nor Oppo has confirmed or denied these speculations which means we will still have to wait till more information is available about the upcoming tab.
