OnePlus 3 owners can now feel and experience Android Nougat on their smartphone. Yes! OnePlus has comes has rolled out Android Nougat Open Beta 8 for OnePlus 3. A few weeks back, OnePlus officially confirmed that it will release Android Nougat beta version in near future which will be followed by a stable build release. The new update is named as Oxygen Os Open Beta 8 which can be can be downloaded from this link.

It is worth mentioning that, you need to flash this new build manually as most companies do not push beta versions via OTA. Previous beta OS users will also have to follow the same flashing procedure to try this new build. If you are planning to flash it to your OnePlus 3, keep it in mind that you won’t be able to restore to previous Marshmallow based Oxygen OS without OnePlus support service help.

This new beta 8 OS offers all exciting Android Nougat features which include new notification shade, update UI, multi-window option, notification direct reply, custom DPI support and lot more. Other than this, OnePlus has made few of its own addition such as status bar icons, quick launch for third-party apps, and new customizations for the shelf.

Since its a beta release, all features may not function properly. OnePlus has already revealed that Android Pay may not work properly here. Having said that, OnePlus has so far stuck to its word and hopefully a stable build is just around the corner.
