OnePlus Pad launched in China with Dimensity 8350 SoC & 9520mAh battery

Yesterday, OnePlus hosted a grand launch event in China wherein the brand not only announced the Ace 5 Series of smartphones but also announced the OnePlus Pad & OnePlus Buds Ace 2. The OnePlus Pad is a rebrand of the Oppo Pad 3 that was launched in November and shares similar specs. It is a budget-friendly tablet that comes with stylus support and premium-grade specs. The brand has confirmed that it will start 2025 in India by launching the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, and more on January 7.

OnePlus Pad: Features

The OnePlus Pad is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset based on a 4nm process paired with Mali G615 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. The tablet flaunts an 11.6-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate for gaming, streaming, and productivity. The display also comes with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 700 nits brightness, and a resolution of 2800×2000.

The tablet runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and connectivity features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, and more. AI learning tools are also a part of the Pad integrated into the system making it more productive and educational. In terms of photography, the OnePlus Pad sports an 8MP front and 8MP back cameras for basic imaging needs and document scanning.

Under the hood, the pad packs a 9520mAh battery with 67W wired charging. It measures 257.75×189.11×6.29mm and weighs 533 grams.

OnePlus Pad comes in four storage configurations in China-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-1999 yuan (Rs. 23,300)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- 2299 yuan (Rs. 26,800)
  • 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage- 2699 yuan (Rs. 31,400)
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- 3099 yuan (Rs. 36,000)

The Pad comes in Deep Ash & Tundra Green hues.

OnePlus Pad comes with accessories like a Smart Stylus priced at 399 yuan and a Smart Keyboard at 499 yuan, with early buyers receiving a stylus for free. Globally it will launch as OnePlus Pad Go 2. In India too, the OnePlus Pad will come as the OnePlus Pad Go 2 in the next few months.
