OnePlus Nord Watch Launched in India Everything You Need To Know

You might have heard a lot about the OnePlus Nord Watch. In fact, the Chinese brand has been teasing the watch for some time now. Cut to October 4th, it has officially launched in India with its 1.78” AMOLED display with 500 nits of peak brightness, 105 sports modes, and 10 days of battery life among other chops. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus Nord Watch.

OnePlus Nord Watch Pricing and Availability

OnePlus Nord Watch has arrived in India with an introductory price tag of INR 4,999/- (or $60 if in case you want in USD) while the regular price is pegged at INR 6,999/- (again, $85 that is) that will kickstart once the introductory offer ends.

You can buy the Midnight Black colorways available or wait for the majestic Deep Blue variant although the dates are not available for the same. For availability, it is available starting October 4th at 12 PM so if you are reading anytime after that, check out Amazon and get yourself a Nord Watch.

The OnePlus Nord Watch is available with a discount of INR 500/- using Axis Bank Credit and Debit Card while an ICICI Bank cardholder will get INR 500/- as well. However, both offers are available only via selected OnePlus Experience stores and the OnePlus Store App.

OnePlus Nord Watch Specifications and Features

The OnePlus Nord Watch has been launched in India housing a giant 1.78” AMOLED 60Hz colored squaricle display that can fire up to 500 nits of peak brightness. It uses an SF32LB555V406 chipset with RTOS under the hood. It is compatible with both Android OS 6 and above as well as iOS 11 and above.

On the battery front, we have a 230mAh juice box that brings 10 days of battery life with 30 days of standby time as per OnePlus. However, we all know that these timings are based on controlled conditions and real-world conditions are anything but controlled.

The watch has a GPS onboard for location and connects with the host device using Bluetooth 5.2. Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has designed the OnePlus Nord Watch to appeal to both men and women and thus, unisex in nature. However, it is paired with features to track monthly menstrual cycles for women. There’s a SpO2 sensor on board along with sleep tracking and heart rate sensor although how accurate it is something that we will find out with incoming reviews.

As aforementioned, the OnePlus Nord Watch supports 105 exercise types which was already confirmed by the tech giant a week ago. The watch is IP68 resistant so that should cover it for dust and water protection. It has a build consisting of plastic and zinc alloy which looks pretty good though.
