OnePlus is again in news. Last year, we heard that there was no 5T model under works and instead, OnePlus will bring out its next flagship killer early next year. However, new leaked renders suggest that a 5T does exist after all.  According to Gizmochina leak, OnePlus is working on a OnePlus 5T – a successor to 2017 flagship killer.

What’s so special about OnePlus 5T?

Well, OnePlus 5T appears to integrate a lot of cosmetic changes. Biggest and most noticeable change is claimed to have taken place in display arena. As per rumour, the OnePlus 5T will flaunt a 6-inches  2160 x 1080p resolution, which will make it first OnePlus phone to actually feature an 18:9 display.

It must be noted that the image leaked is almost identical to what in the past has been alleged as the Oppo F5 which further raises doubts about the authenticity of the image.

OnePlus 5T specifications and features

Currently, apart from display size, not much has made to leaks. If we go by the previous generation upgrade, there are not many changes is expected under the hood. We at the Smartprix, expect OnePlus 5T to rock Snapdragon 835 with 6GB and 8GB RAM similar to last generation phone. If the above render of the OnePlus 5T turns out to be true, in that case, it is highly likely that OnePlus shifts fingerprint sensor to rear end.

On the optics front, the OnePlus 5T could use the same camera setup as its predecessor. There is also a possibility that OnePlus 5T might as well feature a dual camera setup on the front. It could come out of the box running on Android Oreo-based Oxygen OS.

Since these are all speculations, we would request you to take it with a pinch of salt.
