Riding high on the success of OnePlus 3, the Chinese smartphone maker launched its upgraded variant, the OnePlus 3T, with a few enhancements, the most significant of which is perhaps the bigger 3400mAh battery.

The OnePlus 3T also takes on the latest Snapdragon 821 chipset, which is marginally faster and compatible with Google’s Daydream VR platform. This time a 128GB internal storage variant will also be available. And last, but not the least, it also beefs up the selfie shooter. There is now a 16MP Samsung 3P8SP sensor with 1Micron pixels (smaller than what’s conventional) on the front aided by f/2.0 aperture optics and PDAF.

OnePlus is using the same 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The software is still Android Marshmallow, though Nougat update is right behind the corner (for both OP 3 and OP 3T).

Other features include 64GB/ 128GB storage, 16MP rear camera sensor with OIS, fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and super fast Dash charging.

The OnePlus 3T has the same footprint as the 3, but will be available in a darker Gunmetal color instead of Graphite or Soft Gold.
