As we draw closer to the December 5 launch, we are getting to hear more about OnePlus 12. Today, it was spotted on AnTuTu and not just with a score but rather a smashing score of 2,333,033 points – the highest ever on AnTuTu to date. We have to say the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC did pull it off along with 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM. Here’s more about the new record.
Breaking down the OnePlus 12 Geekbench scores
The OnePlus 12 outshines the competition scoring a whopping 2,333,033 points on AnTuTu, the highest ever on the benchmarking platform. Breaking it down further, we get 533,566 points on the CPU; 904,961 points on the GPU; 355,995 on UX, and 538,511 points on a memory test.
Several factors are responsible for such an impressive performance. Most importantly, it’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that has consistently been scoring 2mn points on AnTuTu ever since we started seeing it on AnTuTu. There’s a larger vapor chamber on board the OnePlus 12 that helps it dissipate heat better than ever before which helps in sustained performance for longer.
The combination of 1TB storage and 24GB (top-of-the-line variant) added the silhouette the OnePlus 12 needed to outshine its competitors on a major benchmarking platform. The UI/UX is giving it a much-needed push as well.
OnePlus 12 is a next-gen gaming beast
According to the reports, OnePlus has collaborated with chip makers, game engine developers, and manufacturers to take on a four-way depth tuning required for enhanced gaming. Ultimately, it will help the OnePlus 12 get stable and higher frame rates, lower heat, heightened touch control sensitivity, and improved network stability.
OnePlus 12 will get a dedicated gaming display chip plus an ‘Ultra Frames Ultra Graphics Engine’ that supports 120Hz refresh rate paired with 2K resolution on games plus HDR image quality. No doubt the OnePlus 12 is en-route to becoming a gaming beast to take on the likes of Asus ROG Phone and RedMagic by Nubia.
The OnePlus 12 is all set for its big launch on December 5 in China followed by its global debut on January 23. It will make it to India on this day while the global markets will get it on January 24. This isn’t the first time OnePlus is pulling such a stunt but hey, it’s worth it.
