OnePlus 11R Launch Date Announced; Powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

OnePlus is all set for the February 7th Cloud 11 Launch Event. It will debut OnePlus 11 5G in India and globally after a month after its Chinese launch. The event will also see a long-rumored OnePlus Pad, OnePlus TV 65” Q2 Pro, OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, and another limelight taker “OnePlus 11R 5G”. Turns out the company has officially declared the launch date and chipset that was awaited at large.

OnePlus 11R 5G To Launch On February 7

We already knew that the OnePlus 11R 5G will make its debut on February 7th at the Cloud 11 event. However, the recent confirmation comes officially from the Chinese maker who confirmed the date – February 7th at 19:30 IST. Adding to it, the phone will bring Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC on the table and that’s a confirmed spec. OnePlus also added the hashtag “ShapeofPower” to commemorate the upcoming 11R 5G launch with the overclocked SoC. For context, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is just a step down from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that will make it to OnePlus 11 5G.

OnePlus 11R 5G Specifications

OnePlus 11R 5G is expected to bring onboard a 6.7” FHD+ Curved AMOLED 120Hz display. It has a punch-hole cut-out for its 16MP cam. There’s a 50MP plus 12MP plus 2MP depth triple rear camera setup. There’s up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and course, with no memory card slot. The software onboard is an Android 13-powered OxygenOS 13.1 OS which is a pretty lightweight UI compared to other UIs available today

A 5,000mAh battery sits under the hood paired with a 100W wired charging. It goes in line with OnePlus 11 5G. Other features that will likely reprise on 11R are Wi-Fi 6, IR blaster, NFC, dual 5G, in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth v5.3, and Dolby Atmos. You will get to use the alert slider with the 11R 5G as well.
