Calling an Ola or Uber cab has become a cake walk with Google’s new update. The search engine giant has integrated popular cab services OLA and UBER in its Google App and web which let users hail a cab directly from its search results.
A few months back,Google introduced a similar feature in its popular maps app on iOS or Android platform where it provides information and an option to hail OLA and Uber from within the maps app. However, with this new feature, commuters can ask Google for directions, and book ride services directly from the same screen. The App also provides relevant information like fair estimate and how much time it take to reach you.
Once user taps on ‘Order Now’ option, it automatically opens the relevant app to book the ride. In cases the app is not installed on the device, Google Search will redirect you a Google Play store link to install the app.
Choosing the best transit option can be a task at times, our aim is to help users simplify their everyday travel. With this, users will be able to order, explore and make quick comparisons about the best estimated taxi fare directly from Google Search results on their mobile.
