Nokia Rumored To Be Developing Lumia 940 And 940 XL

Microsoft Lumia series might not have been really a huge success so far, but then Microsoft seems to be working hard on it seamlessly and unstoppably. Today we posted about the announcement regarding the launch of Microsoft Lumia 430, the cheapest Lumia smartphone ever made. And now we have the rumors that later this year Microsoft has got another surprise for all of us. A new flagship Smartphone, Microsoft Lumia 940 is expected to replace the previous one, Microsoft Lumia 930.

AS per the rumors, Microsoft Lumia 940 features will include an octa core processor which are well suited with the latest and most newly developed Windows 10 platform. The smartphone will include a 5.2 inch HD display. Another sibling of Lumia 940, Microsoft Lumia 940 XL is expected to jump in along with the former one. The latter is expected to boast a 5.7 inch display, leaving all other specifications to be the same in both the smartphones. The duo is expected to incorporate a high end 24 or 25 MP rear facing camera and a 5 or 8 MP front facing camera.

Apart from this, both the smartphones are expected to have pen support, iris scaling capability, 3D like native interaction. The devices are rumored to be developed by Nokia and will run on Windows 10 OS platform. Though the news are purely rumor dependent, but the devices are expected to be officially announced by the end of April 2015.
