MSI has brought two design-oriented 2-in-1 productivity laptops to India namely Summit E13 Flip Evo and Summit E16 Flip. The Taiwanese brand calls its approach “the golden ratio rule of design”. As for power, the laptops are packing the 11th gen Intel Core i7 processors inside. The rest of the highlights include their touchscreen displays, up to 20Hrs of advertised battery endurance, and WiFi 6E support for connectivity.

The company has also released a proprietary stylus Pen and USB-C Docking Station (Gen2).

Let’s take a look at each of their specs and features one by one.

MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo

The Summit E13 Flip Evo sports a 13.4-inch FHD+ touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and MSI Pen compatibility. Up top, there is a 720p HD webcam with a privacy shutter switch. When it comes to its build, the machine boasts the use of “aluminum-extruded unique technology”. In light of this, the chassis is 14.9mm thick and weighs 1.35kg.

Inside, it comes with up to 11th gen Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor, Intel Iris X iGPU a 70WHr battery, up to 32GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz RAM, and up to 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD storage.

Connectivity options include up to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, four USB-C Thunderbolt-4 (USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and PD) ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, and a microSD card slot. You can pick the product in Pure White and Ink Black colors.

MSI Summit E16 Flip

This one vaunts as the “thinnest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop with powerful performance”. It tries to standout with the “streamlined diamond cut edges”. The display is still a 16-inch panel with 16:10 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution.

As for the internals, the company is yet to spill the details. Still, what we know is that the Summit E16 Flip will be rocking 11th gen Intel Core CPUs coupled with “the latest Nvidia graphics”. Further, the brand also extols the use of ‘Dynamic Cooler Boost’, which is said to create up to 40% lesser noise than the competition.

You also get the MSI Pen amid the new releases, which is a winner of the CES 2021 award in the Computer Peripherals and Accessories field. It is engineered to look and act like a fountain pen. This is possible thanks to 4,096-levels of pressure sensitivity and Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0. Moreover, you can employ it as a presentation remote with customizable presentation functions.

Last but not least, we have the USB-C Docking Station Gen-2 which is a connecting hub comprising 1xUSB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, 1xDisplayPort 1.4 port, a full-size HDMI port, 2xUSB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and 1xUSB-A 2.0 legacy port.
