MSI brings in new Raider and Stealth machines into its gaming portfolio in the country. The former includes heavy-weight laptops like GE76 Raider and GE66 Raider, while the latter has GS66 Stealth, which’s focussed more on portability. The highlight of the refresh is newer 11th Intel chips and Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics. MSI had originally introduced them last month, but now that they are here in India, let’s dig in and find all we need to know.

MSI GE76 Raider vs MSI GE66 Raider

You can pick the GE76 in either 17.3-inches, 165Hz refresh rate, and QHD resolution, or 17.3-inches, 360Hz refresh rate, and FHD resolution. On the audio front, you get an extra Dynaudio configured woofer in the speaker system.

Inside, it comes powered by up to Core i9 CPU. And although the rest of the ingredients remain the same, the GE76 Raider weighs 2.9 Kg.

MSI GS66 Stealth Specs and Features

This is about 300 grams lighter than the aforementioned GE66 at 2.1 Kgs. So, again portability is a draw here. Rest, on the front, the laptop sports a 15.6-inch QHD panel rocking a 165Hz refresh rate. The webcam is just HD though.

And internally, it carries up to Core i7 CPUs and up to 3080 Max-Q graphics. The memory configurations, battery size, sound setup, and keyboard are all the same as the Raider models. Similarly, the port selection is mostly the same with the only difference being USB 3.2 Gen 2 on all USB-A sockets.
