Motorola X30 Pro confirmed to sport a 200MP camera sensor: Read on to know more

Motorola's upcoming flagship X30 Pro is confirmed to have a 200MP camera sensor. The smartphone might launch later this month.

Motorola’s upcoming flagship X30 Pro has been confirmed to feature a large 200MP camera sensor. This will be the 2nd device to have a 200MP camera sensor and will be called Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in the global market. The china market will know it by the name of X30 Pro.

Motorola X30 Pro Camera Sensor

The news about the smartphone featuring a large camera sensor was confirmed by GM Chen Jin via a post on Weibo. The sensor is believed to be a 200MP ISOCELL HP 1 lens because it has been confirmed that the smartphone has a 1/1.22-inch sensor that matches Samsung ISOCELL HP1. The sensor is slightly smaller in size than the one seen on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra that launched recently.

Motorola X30 Pro Specs Expectaions

The Moto X30 Pro was earlier spotted on the 3C certification website with the model number XT2241-1. It has been given the name of Motorola Frontier too at some places. The specs that are rumored include a 6.73-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It will run Android 12-based MyUX OS and pack a 4500mAh battery with 125W fast charging.

In terms of camera, the Moto X30 Pro is said to feature a triple camera setup at the back, which will include a 200MP main (85mm), 50MP ultrawide (35mm), and 12MP (50mm) portrait lens. There will be a 60MP front camera as well.

Since the device has already started appearing on various certification listings, the launch seems imminent. We will get to know more about it as the day of the launch gets closer.
