Motorola ThinkPhone rear panel design official teased ahead of CES 2023

In the last couple of months, Motorola ThinkPhone has made multiple appearances in different leaks and rumors. Finally, the smartphone has been officially confirmed to make its way to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. Just ahead of that, the design of the device has been officially teased. The launch of smartphones is going to take place between January 5 to January 8. The official images throw light on the design of the smartphone.

According to the images, the handset will have a textured rear panel curved into the frame. The frame also gets antenna lines that depict the use of metal in the making of the smartphone. There are buttons on the device with red accents but until now, no details have been shared regarding their functioning. The Motorola ThinkPhone is set to get a flat frame. At the bottom of the device, we can get to see the ‘ThinkPhone by Motorola’ branding.

What can we get to see in the Motorola ThinkPhone at CES 2023?

First things first, the Motorola ThinkPhone could bring productivity-focused features. As of now, Motorola has not revealed anything officially apart from the design of the rear panel. Nonetheless, leaks and rumors have suggested what we can get to see in terms of the specifications and features of the smartphone. Major highlights of the feature that have been leaked online are ‘Mirror Phone’, ‘Webcam, and ‘Connect Display’. One of the leaks suggested that the users of the Motorola ThinkPhone will be able to answer incoming calls, control music playback, and check messages, on their phone directly from the laptop.

As for the rumored features, The Motorola ThinkPhone will ship with a 6.6-inch OLED display complemented with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be most probably powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will operate on the Android 13 operating system.

In terms of optics, the Motorola ThinkPhone will flaunt a triple rear camera system including a 50MP primary shooter, 12MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, we can get to see a 32MP front shooter for the sake of selfies and video calls. The handset will draw power from a 4500 or 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
