Good news for Moto G4/ G4 Plus owners. Soon you will be able to update your phone to Android 7.0 Nougat. Lenovo-owned Motorola has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat Update on both, the Moto G4 Plus and the Moto G4, in India.

The Indian update was announced a day after the company started conducting a soak test on Moto G4 Plus for Android 7.0 Nougat in Brazil. For the layman, Soak testing is a process where a company releases the update to a limited number of users and gathers feedback that helps fix bugs before going public.

The company has requested users to install the update over WiFi with more than 50 percent charged battery. Once the update is available on your phone, you will receive a notification message. Just tap the notification message and select “Yes, I’m in” to start the update process.

Users can also manually check the update by navigating to Settings >> about phone >> System Updates. If the update is available, a message confirming the same will pop up on the screen.

You can check the release notes from the source link. It’s great to see Lenovo keep the tradition of faster updates alive with the new Moto G4 series.
