Motorola P30 Play will feature a premium design with 2.5D glass casing, while the front screen will be seen sporting a 720 x 1520 resolution IPS LCD (5.86-inch) display along with a notch. Motorola claims that this particular phone’s production process is quite complicated, and its outline is very similar to iPhone X, even from camera placement perspective.

Talking about the cameras, the Motorola P30 Play bears a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera, beside a secondary rear 2MP shooter. Motorola has been planning to tout its rear camera under the “AI camera” label, although it is not clear what additional functions it performs. An 8MP f/2.2 selfie camera features the ability to determine a user’s age, skin color, skin quality, gender, as well as others. The selfie camera can automatically activate its beautify mode based on its perception, and also support facial recognition.
