Motorola Moto 360 (2nd generation) goes official in India starting at Rs. 19,999

Motorola India has unwrapped its 2nd edition of Moto 360 in India today. The second generation Android wear smart watch was first showcased earlier in the year at IFA 2015 in Berlin. Moto 360 (2nd generation) will go on sale starting December exclusively on Flipkart and Myntra  in 5 variants.

The new Moto smartwear features a Gorilla Glass 3 protected flat tire display which will be available in two different sizes. The display gets ambient lighting sensors, which adjust brightness of screen according to surroundings. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 512MB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU ticking at 450 MHz.  The watch has 4GB of internal storage.

Motorola has added Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi for connectivity purpose. It comes loaded with a list of sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, vibration/haptics engine and optical heart rate monitor. It comes with IP67 certification which means it is resistant to dust and water (but it is not water proof).

Like most other Android wear smartwatches, Moto 360 (2nd generation) is compatible with both Android devices and Apple’s iPhones. For Mens, the watch is offered in two – 42mm and 46mm case which comes with 20mm and 22mm bands respectively. Women gets to flaunt 42mm case with 16mm band in their hand.
