Motorola has confirmed the launch of its new mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, in India, scheduled for April 2, 2025, at 12 PM IST. The device, succeeding the Edge 50 Fusion, will go on sale starting April 9 via Flipkart and Motorola’s India e-store.

The Edge 60 Fusion will feature a 6.7-inch “all-curved” Pantone-validated 10-bit AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2400 x 1600 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It’ll feature a peak brightness of 4,500 Nits, HDR10+ certification, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, plus Water Touch 3.0 for usability in wet conditions.

Under the hood, it’ll be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, a 4nm chipset with four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.60 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU. The phone will come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via microSD up to 1TB.

The camera system will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide lens that will also serve as a macro camera. On the front will be 32MP selfie camera with 4K support. For the battery, it will feature a 5,500 mAh cell with 68W TurboPower wired fast charging.

Out of the box, the Edge 60 Fusion will be running Android 15 with Hello UI, and receive three OS upgrades and four years of security patches. It includes an IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Additional features encompass Moto AI tools like Magic Eraser, Adaptive Stabilization, and Circle to Search, plus Moto Secure 3.0 and Smart Connect 2.0.

Pricing and Colors

Pricing details remain under wraps, but the Edge 60 Fusion is expected to start around ₹25,000, a slight bump from the Edge 50 Fusion’s ₹22,999 launch price. It will be offered in three colors: blue, pink, and purple.

Launch and Availability

Motorola announced the launch date today, following a series of teasers hinting at a new Edge series device. The Edge 60 Fusion will be available exclusively through Flipkart and Motorola’s official online store, consistent with the brand’s recent distribution approach for its Edge lineup.
