Motorola’s flagship – the Edge 20 smartphone, is due to launch in the country next week. The brand has already begun teasing the device on social media. Motorola India posted the teaser highlighting phone’s camera capabilities.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro will be the brand’s second launch next week. The Lenovo company is set to launch its Moto Tab G20 on September 30 a day before the Edge 20 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro will get a 144Hz 10-bit AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. Moto Tab G20 will feature an 8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with TDDI technology and will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P22T SoC.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro: Features
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The panel has HDR 10+ certification and DCI P3 certification. Motorola Edge 20 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. With an Adreno 650 GPU and an octa-core clock speed of 3.2GHz, it is an octa-core chipset. Additionally, the device has 12GB of storage.
With a rectangular camera module that sits in the middle of a glass panel, Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a glass back. There is a flat display with minimal bezels on the front, as well as a punch-hole camera located in the center. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication.
Motorola’s Edge 20 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, including a 108-megapixel sensor for the primary camera, an 8-megapixel periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, it comes with a single 32-megapixel camera. You can shoot videos in 8K and 4K at 24 FPS on both the rear and front cameras.
With a battery capacity of 4500mAh and support for 30W fast charging, this smartphone is equipped with a powerful battery. The device has 5G technology and NFC, GPS, WiFi 6, and more connectivity options. In addition, Android 11 is installed on this device.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro India Price and Availability
Motorola Edge 20 Pro, the brand’s premium smartphone, retails for EUR 699.99 (Rs. 60,500). As of now, the retail price in India is unknown, but some reports suggest it will cost more than Rs 40,000. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is set to be launched in India soon. A Flipkart list suggests a launch on October 1 although this has yet to be confirmed.
