Lenovo Moto M With A Metal Body And Rear Mounted Fingerprint Sensor Coming Soon

0

Reportedly, Lenovo will launch its upcoming Moto M on November 8. If the leaked renders are to be believed, the new Moto brings in a distinctive design and is draped in metal.

A Moto G4 and E3 series like primary camera module juts out and asserts its Moto lineage. And perhaps it’s a good thing that the fingerprint reader has been shifted to the rear from the offbeat trackpad positioned below the display that Moto phones have been doggedly sticking to this year (the Moto insignia on the fingerprint reader probably would have looked dapper, though).

The 5.5-inch Full HD screen on the front uses an IPS LCD panel. To push near-stock Android Marshmallow software on the display, Moto M relies on 1.8GHz octa-core Helio P10 paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB expandable storage.

Other features include 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 8MP selfie camera, 4G LTE, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a 3000mAh battery.

The Moto M isn’t coming alone. Lenovo will also launch the P2 alongside, which has a beefier 5100mAh battery and a very power-efficient Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip at the hardware helm.

Both handsets are scheduled to go official next week, and hopefully, we will have more to share about Moto M and Lenovo P2 availability beyond Chinese market then.
