The Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola has launched yet another affordable phone in India, the Moto Edge 40 Neo. Some key specifications of the device include a 6.55-inch pOLED display, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and a dual camera system. The smartphone will be available in the coming days via Flipkart, Motorola’s official store, and other retail stores in the country. Here’s everything one needs to know about the new Moto Edge 40 Neo, its specifications, price, and availability.

Moto Edge 40 Neo Specifications

Out of the box, the Moto Edge 40 Neo has a 6.55-inch pOLED screen, which supports a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Further, the display can reach a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, providing better visibility in bright outdoor conditions. Users can also view HDR10+ content on the phone. Moreover, the Moto Edge 40 Neo delivers a better viewing experience than other smartphones in the segment.

The Moto Edge 40 Neo is the first smartphone to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, an octa-core chipset based on 6nm fabrication technology. What’s good is that the phone comes with two RAM and storage options: 8/128GB and 12/256GB. While the smartphone runs on Android 13, the company has promised to provide up to two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.

In the camera department, the Moto Edge 40 Neo features a dual-sensor system on the rear panel. It contains a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) primary sensor and a 13MP (f/2.2, 120-degree) ultrawide sensor. On the front, users get a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie shooter. The rear cameras can record 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080p videos at 30/60 fps. The official website doesn’t mention any details about the front camera video quality at the moment.

With a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging, the Moto Edge 40 Neo is one of the fastest-charging smartphones in its segment. The company claims that it can reach 50% in under 15 minutes. Other features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, dual speakers (with support for Dolby Atmos), an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Moto Edge 40 Neo Price And Availability

Although the 8/128GB and the 12/256GB variants cost Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 25,999, respectively, Moto is offering the phones at an introductory price of Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 22,999. The smartphone, in Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea, will be available on Flipkart and other retail stores from September 28, 2023. Those interested in purchasing can also look for additional exchange bonuses and bank discount offers.
