The first wave of Snapdragon X Elite laptops is here. After months of anticipation, the X Elite laptops are finally here, and Microsoft seems to be among the first with its new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro. Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, and Samsung are the first OEMs to bring the new Qualcomm laptop chips on their laptops.
While Microsoft’s Surface Laptop and Surface Pro have already hit the shelves, laptops from other manufacturers may not arrive until June 2024. Nonetheless, the wait won’t be too long. It should be noted that most of these laptops have been announced in the US but are not available (yet).

As for the price, they’re not as steep as you might expect. The most affordable Snapdragon X Plus laptops start at $999, while the Snapdragon X Elite laptops start at $1,249. We are sure that these prices will go down further as we get to see more affordable options in the future.

All of these laptops are also powered by Copilot+ along with a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard, and Microsoft labels them Copilot+ PCs. After AI PCs, we now have Copilot+ PCs.
