After launching the bigwigs Lumia 950XL and 950 at a studded event last month, Microsoft has announced it’s more affordable Lumia 550 in India priced at Rs. 9,399. The Windows 10 phone will be available in Glossy White and Matte Black variants starting from December 23.

The Lumia 550 is now the cheapest Microsoft smartphone which is running on latest Windows 10 OS. However, Lumia 550 will miss some prominent features of Windows 10 like Continuum and Windows Hello, which as of now company has reserved for its flagship devices. Continuum lets users use their phone as the full PC by just connecting a display through small connector hub. On the other hand, Windows Hello is a security feature equipped with iris scan, which Microsoft showcased with the 950’s twins.
