It seems like Micromax is going to launch another phone in its Juice series as a phone branded as Canvas Juice 4G is retailing on e-bay for Rs. 7,665. This is not the first time a Micromax phone has been listed on an e-commerce site before official launch. Last year, a similar thing happened with Canvas Juice 3 Q392 which started retailing on Indiatimes.com even before official launch.
Spec sheet of the new phone is more or less similar to Canvas Juice 3 Q392. The Micromax Canvas Juice 4G Q461 flaunts a 5-inch IPS HD display with 1280x720pixel resolution. At the heart of it larks a 1GHz quad-core coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of ROM with an expansion slot which supports microSD card up to 32GB.
The dual SIM phone is packed with 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera for shutterbugs. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and draws all the juice from extra-large 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the Micromax Canvas Juice 4 Q461 supports 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, micro USB port, and Bluetooth. It also features a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Like other Juice series phones, the primary highlight here is the battery. This isn’t a ground breaking phone and doesn’t bring anything new to the table, which makes us assume it is being targeted at offline distribution network.
